The technology and design of cars today has made us a lot of progress over the years.

Vehicles are now focusing on fuel consumption and its impact on the environment. However, it is technology that is being transmitted, and is out of the vehicle that make a difference how much you can afford to pay.

Once more we rely on our cars for everyday life, many stay to the rising cost disappointed for their insurance premiums, and it is usually younger driversbearing the brunt of the blame.

Because the stigma is to younger drivers, who typically associated connects them with crimes such as joyriding and car theft, many are increasingly concerned that their actions could have an influence on the world of car insurance.

When feeling under-25s trend in the search for car insurance, many feel they are punished because of the actions that select a small percentage, auto-commit --Offenses.

However, the GPS technology, could be the key not only to reduce crime rate among young people, but also to reduce the cost of insurance premiums?

With plans to introduce GPS technology into vehicles, and certain insurance companies seeking to branch into a "pay-as-you-drive" policy, sometimes your driving habits could contribute to the cost of your premium.

In fact, several provinces in Canada already have such a system put in place, withGPS ankle bracelets to keep track of the worst offenders when it comes to car incidents.

Through the use of alarm systems that are activated if the offender to an "exclusion zone" crosses the authorities are capable of tabs, where offenders are and where they should be held.

Provided through contact with them through the use of cell phones - even with tracking devices - step when they are outside its borders, the opportunities for intervention before they will commit further crimesincreased.

And the technology seems to be an effect - even on crime rates and car insurance premiums - in the provinces that introduced the technology.
