As many of you already know, the most popular time to visit Europe is in the summer. The beach cities are in full tourist mode and warm weather makes any location a desirable place. What’s not to love about Europe in the summer???
Oh I know, the transportation prices. Trains, planes, buses and taxis all raise their prices because of the influx in tourism. Ok, car hire companies raise their prices too. The only difference is that car hire is usually the cheapest way to travel throughout Europe. Summer, winter, spring and fall, the car hire prices remain lower than all of the other transportation modes.
It is really a good idea for a holiday to find a cheap car hire in Europe. It gives you the freedom of mobility that is so important and also provides some much better privacy than the blatantly obvious alternative of PUBLIC transportation. Don’t get me wrong, I like trains and buses and of course planes are a necessity for arriving at a faraway place, but the ability to drive a car hire in another country is really great.
You decide the places to visit and you decide how much time to spend at each place. It is the only way to take control of your holiday. I have had many holidays in Europe with and without a car hire and I can easily say that with a car hire was much better. Sure there is traffic and crazy drivers, but cruising the open road to anywhere you please is nothing short of spectacular!
