Police Vehicle Auctions Vs Car Dealerships – Which is Better?
There are advantages and disadvantages held for the purchase of a vehicle at a government or police auction, go to a car dealership. Many people do not know, but the police confiscated thousands of cars per month and in most cases, they auctioned off to the general public at greatly reduced prices.
In fact, these auctions are a secret that car dealers do not want you to know you. An educated consumer makes an impact as a potential threat for at least part of theirBusiness.
So why 90% of the general public for purchase of car dealerships? Well, that's a good question and I think it comes to education. People are simply not aware or this police car auctions. Here is a list of advantages and disadvantages to these auctions:
Advantages:
– Business model is much stronger at a lower price
– Auctions are often held in many places in the U.S. and Canada

– Will pay less and with the new car tax

Disadvantages:
– The majority of sales are in cash, so credit is generally not offered
– No warranty after manufacturer warranty, even though dealers have used only a 30-days or so
So, if you do not mind cash for a near new or used vehicle, then it is obvious that the advantages far the disadvantages weigh inin favor of the police auctions. Just like a used car dealer, it is a good idea to bring someone to verify who is and determine condition of the vehicles.
