Torrevieja is a very popular summer vacation destination, it is one of the most popular locations in all of Alicante. This city is located around 50km from Alicante and is also located in the Costa Blanca.

Torrevieja is located in the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, these are actually the last towns which you will come across before entering Murcia. When you are making plans to visit there on holiday you should consider flying into Altet, this is an airport in

If you rent a car, you can from the airport to your hotel in about half an hour. Make sure you try to drive on the highway N-332 heading south. There are also a number of bus companies that run routes from Torrevieja with other well known cities such as Alicante, and moose, among other things. Many hotels also have their own bus service which collects guests from the airport and drops them at the hotel. If you don’t fancy driving, or don’t want to hire a car then you could also get a taxi. Taxi’s are fairly inexpensive.

Great Natural Parks to visit

There are a number of different natural parks to visit in and around Torrevieja, for example you can travel to the Natural park of the Lagoons of Mata by travelling on the C-332 Highway. It is important to book tickets to this park in advance because only 35 people are allowed around at any one time. You can book this by phone, or through certain travel agents. You will be able to find some very beautiful birds and fauna. There are also a lot of storks, avocets and eagles which visit this natural park.

You might also be interested to visit the salt swamps, these are well known for exporting salt all around the world. You can also take salt baths, and these are thought to be very beneficial for certain health complaints. Arthritis and skin conditions are thought to benefit from taking salt baths. Even if you don’t suffer from any of these conditions you could consider taking a salt bath as they are very relaxing! The best part of visiting these salt swamps is the natural beauty of them when the sun reflects in them, it’s like nothing else on earth.

There is an awful lot for people to do in this city, however you don’t have to stay here. If you hire a car then you can easily travel around the Costa Blanca, all around the outskirts of Alicante. You might also want to travel to Benidorm to enjoy some of the amazing theme parks. A hire car is a great way to get the most out of your holiday in Torrevieja.
