Gas Powered Remote Control Cars

March 28th, 2010 No comments

There are many types of remote control cars. Among them we have those on fuel, electricity and gas. This article looks at helping the differences between each category and consumers to make an informed decision.

Generally, gas powered remote control cars use a mixture of oil and gasoline. The price for a turnkey cars run on more expensive at about $ 1000 to $ 3000 as nitrogen and electric cars. Because they are larger, they need more space for the operationand storage. They have a relatively low terminal velocity compared with nitro and electric cars. You do not need much fuel.

Rich in contrast, fuel (nitro) cars have a medium to high speed, even if they are unchanged. Their torque (the turning) is slower in comparison to electric cars because the time needed to engage the spool and the clutch. Nitro (and fuel) cars can be refueled in no time, while removal of the body electric cars and battery fasteners mustwhen replacing a dead battery. Nitro cars are completely air cooled, and can continuously without taking breaks to run to cool.

Electrically powered models are much lighter than their counterparts Nitro equivalent. They have a more consistent torque, since they are electrically powered and are not dependent on a fuel engine. They also have a faster gas. However, electric models have about 15 to 45 minutes to load. Another disadvantage is that they requireto prohibit frequent cooling demagnetization of the permanent magnet in the car engine.

Nitro and gas cars have their own strengths and weaknesses. If you are looking for long term savings (with reduced performance), a gas powered remote control car is considered a preferred choice. However, if a more optimal performance, fuel powered car is involved better off.

Remote Car Starters

March 17th, 2010 No comments

James Bond was, now it may want. A remote car starter, a driver can turn on the ignition of his car from a distance. Sure, maybe it's not on the 007 watch, but there are a number of solutions out there from companies like CRIMESTOPPER, Audiovox, Directed, Viper, and Python.

So, what can you do with this remote control motor starter? The primary objective for remote starters is convenience. You can warm your car that is in the cold weather, whileStay warm in the house. You can also do the same blistering in hot weather, remote turn-on of the engine with the A / C switch on so that it pleasantly cool by the time you get in. Another goal for remote ignition for security reasons. Whether you're male or female, it's always nice to go ready to sell your car, whenever you are, especially if you are in the shady parts of town. And of course the ultimate goal is to have remote starters, the show-off factor, because it concludedwow the true element of your vehicle. Finally, can the do not want to show, like James Bond?

There are a few things to remember. Virtually every car remote start kit vehicle safety and also includes, of course, that they are a kind of remote control. The pricing on these remote start security systems depend mostly on the capabilities of the remote control. I know it sounds crazy, but it's the truth. In essence, the price is depends on how smart your system is based.

The more buttonsThe remote control has, the more money it costs, because the more buttons in general, more programmable features such as keyless entry, arm and disarm, delayed start, valet mode, mean and multi-tone activation. Another aspect is the ability for the system to 2-way communication is not just the typical 1-way. Think of your remote as a pager. 2-way remote control, the system can not be controlled remotely by the user, but also communicates to disturb the user to the car. This iscritical if you are eating and drinking out or shopping at the mall and your car is out of your sight. 2-way remote control typically has a small LCD display to tell you exactly what's going on, and they are usually clear indicators for different things on your car that is disturbed represented (if your vehicle is equipped with sensor is equipped). Some systems show that specify glass breakage in the vicinity of the indicators or alarms to specific disorders.

Another important aspect is of coursethe reach of your remote control. Please note that to say just because a product that they have a range of 6000ft max function. means that there will always consistently 6000ft. Conditions would be perfect to achieve this kind of consistency and range. The longest range I've heard that they had in these systems is about 1500ft. This is about a mile ¼. This is a great field for you, since you could walk about ¼ mile and take care not about your precious car.

Finallyremind you that you wire up your car to burn, it is possible for your remote thieves to steal code and frequency so that if you pass by their remoteness identity and drove the car. Although the possibility is so unlikely It is still possible. Some systems have code-hopping countermeasures, so that your system frequently to change codes to be used by thieves looking for the same exact code of the system for arming and disarming the preventionSystem is an astronomically impossible combination of codes to be decoded. Even with this added feature to expect that the price will be higher.

In summary, I would suggest that you find a remote car starter system, which is appropriate for your needs, too. If you do not want features, keep in mind that for every additional feature will be an additional cost. I hope I helped you in your decision making process. Good luck!

Remote Car Starter Buying Guide

February 28th, 2010 No comments

p My business is to install remote b car/b starters since the early 1990s. This experience has taught us what is important in a quality remote starter installation. With the cold season almost upon us, we thought it would be a good time to post our top 10 list (in no particular order): /pp 10. Warranty /pp The actual remote starter brain should be as long as the b car/b itself will be warrantied. Many companies offer this quality. If they do not, it is possible, a sign ofinferior equipment. Remote controls are rarely longer than one year warranty. Our Pro-Series Remote Controls carry 2 years warranty and all our 2-way remotes are planning a $ 25 replacement. /pp 9. Engine speed-sensing /pp A good remote starter should be a method to monitor the engine speed. Why is this so important? There are a few reasons: /pp * On a very cold day, the b car/b will not start on the first turn of the key. The same is true with a remote starter. It is perhaps notFor the first time, start the starter does it matter. Without a method to detect the engine speed of the remote starter and have no way of knowing that the vehicle will not start. The bottom line is that you b go,/b your b car,/b and it is still cold. /pp * The other main reason is over-rev protection. A quality remote starter to know whether the speed is too high and the engine switched off. A remote start, which can not provide RPM sensor does not know whether this level is exceeded, and could end with lossesthe vehicle. /pp 8. Transmitter Range /pp You want to make sure that the remote start that you buy, you can be the Start / Stop / lock / unlock, etc from a distance. Many people say that they park their b cars/b only to jump in front of her house and rang not long channel. Just keep in mind the trips to the movies, the mall, the amusement park, etc. you want with your remote start then, and you will not be parked so closely at home. Our transmittersprovide a minimum of 800 meters, and some are more than a mile! /pp 7. Hood safety switch /pp Make sure that it installed an emergency cut-off under the hood. This limit is designed to prevent the vehicle from a distance price when the hood is up. This protects you and your mechanic, always with someone else open the ketchup bottle! DO not be overlooked! Many businesses skip this step because it saves time. Mobile Edge integrates a hood on Cutoff each workplace. /pp 6.Manufacturer /pp Make sure that the manufacturer is a company that specializes in remote b car/b starters. There are many companies out there that throw too simply a label for a product and call it their own. You want to avoid. It is our experience that these companies will be little or no support for their products and many are not in the economy next year. Stick with the experts. /pp 5. New b Car/b Warranty /pp Leave your b car dealer/b to tell you that an aftermarketRemote b car/b starters and the warranty void. This is against the law. The Magnuson Moss Act prevents a dealer, a warranty for any reason, because the addition of aftermarket parts. If the equipment or installation related damage caused to the vehicle, the dealer has no guarantee on the job. This is more of a reason to be a professional in a specialty store that sell a good remote starter, and install them. I have a detailed PDF on this topic. /pp 4. Do itYourself? /pp Unless you are a certified technician with experience in the installation of remote b car starters,/b DO NOT attempt to install your own remote starter. I know … Those of you looking WalMart comes with a training video. The video you learn enough to make you dangerous. Trust me! It will not teach how to make the transponder in a 2004 Ford integrate or circumvent the security in an 06 Trailblazer. The instructional video may have worked in the early 1990s, but today carsvery demanding. Save yourself a ton of costs and headaches and let it from someone that can do this for a living and be responsible for the task installed. This brings us to point 3 /pp 3. Buy it here / Install It There? /pp Do not buy a remote starter on eBay (or Amazon, or WalMart, etc) and expect a good quality, reputable business that install it for you. While many shops aftermarket stereos and amplifiers installed purchased elsewhere, few, if any, a remote start installationpurchased elsewhere. While the remote starter season are the best shops busy enough trying to keep up with their own work. If you are a business that you can find someone else to install the remote starter, they are not likely to be very busy. Do you want to trust your car to the guy? /pp There is not another very important reason to buy a remote starter in one place and installed it in another. Suppose something goes wrong. A remote starter is an electronic device and can fail. The guy who saysin the products and the fault of the manufacturers will say that it was installed incorrectly. Guess who is stuck in the middle without recourse. If you have a business that you buy and install a remote starter, you need to go a place to meet in case of failures. It can not show his finger. /pp 2. Go to a specialist /pp Look for a dealer. Not to bash any of the branches, but they have a much higher turnover as plumbing as a specialty store. These are people whothey probably have less experience than a long-term employee in a shop. It is my experience that many installer cut quot;save the teethquot; on a chain, and if they have more experience, go with a professional (we pay more!). /pp Many specialists (though not all) are solder all their connections. I think this is very important. Crimp connectors, up to one hour after installation, but in dealing with the electrical system of the vehicle, I want a rock solid connection. The onlyWay, ie by soldering the wires together. Mobile Edge has soldered every connection on every job for almost 15 years. /pp If a remote starter from a specialty store cost more than from a chain store? Sometimes, yes. But this proposal in perspective. Even if the job cost $ 100 from a specialist, this difference is less than 1 / 10 of 1% of what you probably paid for your b car./b Why go the risk. Not to forget, if you can with a specialist, talk to the installer,Seller and in many cases, the property owner. It is definitely a value in this. /pp 1. More than just a remote starter /pp Make sure that you have all the practical functions, the review of your remote starter with the seller may be added before the installation! Most higher quality remote starter is a ton of cool features can be added or the remote control. Everything from heated seats keyless entry and rear defrost can be better integrated with the most. It is muchcheaper to have them have not yet done at the time of installation. When you add at a later date, you can pay for several hours of extra work. /pp The Bottom Line /pp To summarize, do not save the best price, always money! Have set in selecting a shop to a remote starter in, ask lots of questions. How long they#39;ve been in business? How much experience did the technicians? Do they have sophisticated computer programs to help with the installation? How is guaranteedQuestions? You get the idea. The better the business will clearly rise to the top. They might be a little more front costs, but also that additional costs will be dividends paid to quality and piece of mind. I#39;m sure you realize that Mobile Edge is one of the best shops for your remote b car/b starter installation. /pbrbrpRelated : a href=”http://skypream.com/” rel=”dofollow” title=”skypream web site”skypream/a a href=”http://www.gooddigg.com” rel=”dofollow” title=”gooddigg”gooddigg/a a href=”http://classifiedadvertising.skypream.com” rel=”dofollow” title=”Classified Advertising”Classified Advertising/a /pdiv class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/9017288612248266275-3451050236750698499?l=autocarsite.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div

Remote Control Cars – Handy Do-it-yourself Tips for RC Cars

February 3rd, 2010 No comments

If you do not go from a technical background to pursue it as a remote control car hobby, it's always a good idea, as much as possible about the remote control cars. We all want some kind of help in getting unwanted particles from coming into the car to keep. A quick and easy solution to this problem would secure your air filter. Alternatively, you can buy-bro body clip retainers and make sure that they remain clipped at all times and notlos.

Sometimes you can not have your car working properly. Like when you return to your car and you find that it keeps steering to one side. This can happen even if the wheels straight ahead. A good remedy in this case would be examined to see if your car is a "steering trim" knob, wheel or button option. If it can then be no adjustment to steering servo armature length should do.

A lot of dirt is accumulated under the chassis and it affects the screwHeads. To clean the screw heads under the chassis, spray denatured alcohol on screw heads and then pick the dirt with a paper clip. It is recommended to use denatured alcohol, as it seems to be better than the simple green cleaner, or engine work.

Compressed air also works better for cleaning NTC3 after a good day bashing. But an old sock always does the trick, the car spotless and shiny. The soft wool or cotton wipes the dirt like magic. But we must be suredoes not leave any lose socks thread going into the car. A little artist ever to reach areas and cleans them gently cleanses. Brush to wipe of sticky mud under the chassis or body of the car with a toothbrush also helps. But be careful not to scratch your car paint with too hard bristles.

Keeping spare starter batteries and giving a rain check on your TX, RX, glow starts before you use your car also helps. This is a mustIf your batteries or lights, etc. are in use for a while.

If you have an alternative way out of the shutdown of the engine in comparison to du-bro exhaust plug you can use a pencil to the fumes quickly to shut down the engine plug. Everyone uses the cable tie trick to secure the BEC plug together, lest they accidentally get disconnected. But it seems this is not practical because every time you cut off the tie and use a new one to recharge the cell again. To solve this problem, asimple solution is to replace the cable ties with the twist tie which holds your rx antenna. They are reusable and the job perfectly.

Drilling your tires on the outer edge in the middle, but the rim, keeps the dust and other debris from your tires. They will remain in balance for much longer than crud kicked out increases as you drive. If you drill the rims, then every bit o crap will stay in your wheel.

To get your own chassis, blank circuit board or an aluminum plate is making a bigJob. Use a vice grip to the original chassis to drill the blank material clamp and all your holes by drilling straight through the existing holes on the original chassis. You will get everything, get too good that way! If you take the trouble that the board might be too easy. Do not worry! It is more or less work as a board and fiberglass, and top plate to larger cars.

To goose the runtime of the remote control car is a simple trick to load it several times. If yourremote control car on the collection and remove the plug from two to three times then it might give you a good time to run because the battery is empty again charged. But they do dozens of times could prove fatal for battery life.
