Car Radio Installation Guide – Fiat Radio Removal (AD models)

October 31st, 2009 No comments

Before I explain the removal process of the Fiat radio down I would recommend that you ask your Fiat dealer, or radio version for you because they have specialist radio key and it should be listed for you for free. You have a Fiat car, is not it? They should not charge for 2 minutes work.

But if you're happy, this on its own, we try to go. Remove one of the following Fiat radios can be taken literally either 2 minutes or an hour if you are not from theFiat radio removal keys. Some are very easy, but some are really awkward and you may want someone to help you get the hand while doing so. However, they all have the same trigger mechanism.

Fiat radios with this mechanism:

AD-182 H2

AD-182 H3

AD-185

As we look to the radio, there are 2 clips on either side of the radio, making a total of 4 The top-2-clips are about one inch from the tip of the radio on the side and the bottomClips are about one and a half inches from the bottom on the side of the radio. The clips can, by a solid thin object accessed in between the radio edge, and your data. A Kenwood radio button, hacksaw blade or something similar to work as usual.

I would recommend the release of one side of the radio at a time. To do this, hold your finger in the radio-cassette-aperture, thus pushing it back into the locator. The top clips are the easiest to release but the bottom clips canquite cumbersome.

Unlock the clips to the top, push the release tool near the top edge of the radio, on the one side and then slide the tool down. You will feel the resistance of the clip that hold it in position while you release the clip below

Push Push Now a second instrument at the bottom of the radio on the side and upward until you can feel the resistance from the bottom clip. Try to push the clip back slightly as you bring it to the top, if not post the clip. This is theget awkward bit, to raise it up high enough to free them completely from the locator.

Repeat for the other side and pull off the radio.
