New Beginnings

In 1913, the first four-wheeled sports car in 1913, was inoperative. It was an immediate hit, but not many were made of these cars. The First World War arose at this time and put a serious attitude to the construction of small sporty cars. They were what people were looking atthe time, but with a time of war and expensive work hard times come, as it had much less of it and that is why AC Cars setting share of production of its first small two-seater.

However, by the year 1920 there were more things in store for AC motors. For example, were they working on a six-cylinder engine from 1919, and they even had some of them are still running in the same year.

After the war, took the AC Car Company in a contract that helped pay the billsbut not really in front of the AC brand too much. They placed the transport vehicles for the disabled and invalid, and these cars had small engines in them that AC produced. This contract was for some time, about 30 years after the Treaty was opened in 1947. The contract, the AC Cars, the government had paid the bills, and many of them do so. The fact that it took so long jobs to a lot of people and it kept the economy somewhat functional.

AC Ace in1953

The AC Ace is one of the most popular models of AC motor vehicles. The AC Ace was first introduced in 1953, lunch by the state tender for the small motor vehicles. The AC Bristol car was a real winner, racing fans blowing away in Le Mans two years in a row, both in 1957 and1958th

The implementation of the AC Cobra

In the early 1960s, the AC Car Company was a statement that would change the face of their company. While many people probably think that was the Cobra has always been a product of the Ford group, which is simply not so. A car was needed, which could rival the former champ Chevy Corvette in car racing in the United States and the new AC Cobra model stepped up to the plate. The Cobra was not always the fastest, sportiest, what's out there, either. In fact, the top of the car off at 70 miles per hour according to the acceleration in poor condition led to an accident after the accident. With regard to the safety of their passengers, and probably also the security of their assets, and reduced the AC Cars company, the limit to 70 miles per hour, so the car could not go faster.

At first this was fast little car always in the dust of the Ferrari left, Carroll Shelby and ACCompany opted for their game a little step and it increases the size of the engine by offering additional speed and performance on the track. Finally, the Shelby Cobra sold on behalf of the Ford Motor Company, then the idea of the Cobra Ford GT sports car.

AC Cars is and always has been a legendary car company. It is one of the oldest in the world and is often overlooked for their critical role in the Shelby Cobra vehicle.
